One delivery charge per order, measured in driving miles from our yard in Brule.

A full cord is 4 × 4 × 8 ft, 128 cubic feet of tightly stacked wood. A face cord is one 4 × 8 ft row at our standard 16" length, about one-third of a full cord. Custom lengths by request. 4+ cords? Text us for a quote.

Why Martens
Our oak sits two full years before it’s sold. Dry oak lights easier, burns hotter, and puts less creosote in your chimney.
A full cord is 128 cubic feet, tightly stacked. You get what you pay for, and you can measure it.
You text Morgan, the owner. Same number before delivery, during, and after.
Stacking is $50 a cord. We rake up the bark and chips when we’re done.
About 16" standard. Ask for shorter pieces or smaller splits when you order.

Questions
A full cord is 4 ft high, 4 ft deep, and 8 ft long: 128 cubic feet. A face cord is a single 4 × 8 ft row of 16" wood, about one-third of a full cord. If you heat with wood, you want full cords. Face cords suit fire pits and occasional fires.
$50 within 20 miles of Brule, $75 from 20 to 45 miles, and $100 beyond 45 miles, measured in driving miles. Deliveries over 60 miles need at least 1 full cord. Madeline Island is a flat $150 including the ferry, with a 1 full cord minimum. One charge per order.
Our oak seasons for two years before we sell it, so it’s ready to burn the day it arrives.
About 16 inches, which fits most stoves and fireplaces. We can cut shorter or split smaller on request. Mention it when you order.
Yes. $50 per full cord or $20 per face cord. We stack where you want it and rake up after. Without stacking, we dump it in one neat pile where you choose.
